Silver Surfers ride out again!

We welcomed back our local New Milton residents to our third Digital Club workshop. Numbers were large as our ranks were swelled by our full Erasmus team, including our Italian partner school.

Richard Hastings, Ballard school’s IT manager, presented an informative talk on internet safety as well as specific details relating to genealogy online.

Participants were then encouraged to apply their new-found tech skills, helped along by Richard and our student experts! Students and visitors mingled as interviews and questionnaires were completed relating to the use of technology and we collected a great deal of data for our Better Together Project. Participant feedback was positive with the vast majority ranking the workshop 3-4 out of a possible 5! The Erasmus team would like to thank Alan Watson for his hard work and promotion of our Project in the local community. We are already working on our next workshop and making plans for how best to embed this initiative into our local community in the future.
