Sunrise Care Home: our Project Interaction visit.

Smiles and wonderful memories- this is what we will always remember about our visits to Sunrise Care Home, Southbourne in Bournemouth.

Sandy King, Activity Co-ordinator, welcomed our Erasmus team and we set about with our interactions.

We were cast to the four corners of Sunrise as we played Dominoes Challenge, created beautiful flower arrangements, entered the morning quiz, interviewed residents on a wide range of topics: from treasured possessions to their travel adventures . Stopping to enjoy delicious cookies and a well-earned tea break!

We were even treated to an impromptu piano duet, when 92 year old Frank tinkled the ivories with one of our students! Before we knew it, it was time to leave and we are ever- grateful to Jo, Sandy and their team at Sunrise for their vital input into our Better Together Project!

We will take away such fond memories from our time with you. Thank-you.
